Description

32-digit values of the first 100 recurrence coefficients for orthogonal polynomials relative to the weight function w(x)=|x|/(exp(2*π*|x|)-1) on [-Inf,Inf] are computed by a moment-based method using the routine sr_plana(dig,32,100), where dig=64 has been determined by the routine dig_plana(100,56,4,32). The respective moments can be derived by a simple transformation of variables from those in Exercise 2.28(a) of Walter Gautschi, "Orthogonal polynomials in MATLAB: Exercises and solutions", Software, Environment, Tools, SIAM, Philadelphia, PA, 2016. The software provided in this dataset allows generating an arbitrary number N of recurrence coefficients for arbitrary precisions.
