National Historical Publications and Records Commission has funded the Archives Leadership Institute @ Purdue, a week-long professional development opportunity for archivists.  Archivists learn and engage in the following themes: advocacy, strategic planning, leadership, intercultural competence, and technology.  Virtual reality (VR) technology has been also integrated into the Institute with participants collaborating to write scripts and record simulations to synthesize different leadership-oriented scenarios.

The Purdue University Research Repository (PURR) is a university core research facility provided by the Purdue University Libraries, the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships, and Information Technology at Purdue (ITaP).
