Can I use PURR to satisfy data management plan requirements for U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) grant proposals?

Yes. In July, the DOE began requiring data management plans with all grant proposals submitted to them. You may have resources for preserving and sharing data through a national lab or other facility, which you can use in addition to or instead of PURR. Depending on how much storage you need, usually this is provided at no additional cost to your grant. For more information about including PURR in your proposal's data management plan, visit Writing a Data Plan on PURR.
