What kind of data can I manage in PURR?

PURR is an institutional platform for managing and publishing research datasets. It is intended for data that are used or produced in research projects undertaken by Purdue researchers and their collaborators. These data are primary inputs or outputs of the research process and may come in a variety of formats including (but not limited to) spreadsheets, images, output from sensors and instruments, transcripts, surveys, software source code and tools, video, and observation logs. Data published using PURR can subsequently be cited in secondary sources outside of PURR, such as in journal and conference articles. PURR does not support administrative or any other university data. Only research datasets and their accompanying materials are within the scope of PURR.
