What is a project?

A project is a dedicated working space on PURR for you to collaborate and prepare data for publication and curation for a research project or study. In addition to providing working space for your data, projects include a wiki, to-do lists, and other tools to aid collaboration.

After creating a project, you can invite others to join it as either owners, who can create and change files and alter information about the project and its membership, or collaborators, who can only read files and change files but not project information and membership.

A project can made private so that it is not publicly listed.
